Small Town Parades

The 56th Annual Waterama Grande Day Parade in Glenwood starts at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 31st.  Dale and I attended the 55th Annual Waterama Parade last year ~ it was wonderful!  (see the videos below)  Bonus points if you can find Dale in one of the videos. **

I recommend you take the opportunity to see the Waterama Parade this year.  Glenwood is 58 miles from Atwater, 71 miles from Cosmos and 55 miles from Grove City.

It is great when people in rural Minnesota can support each other.   ACGC High School  and Minnewaska Area High School are two of the eighteen schools who compete in the
West Central Conference.

Atwater Festival Days was held June 14 – 18, 2011.  Click here to listen to Goldie’s fun interview on the Morning Brew with Bill Dean on KWLM 1340 AM.

Cosmos Space Festival was held July 15 – 17, 2011  Click here to find the Cosmos Space Festival Web Site. According to the Independent Review ~ it is always an out of this
world celebration.

Grove City Windmill Days was held last year on Sunday, August 15, 2010.  The annual Grove City Windmill Days is tentatively scheduled for the second weekend in August. The event usually includes activities for youth and adults.

** Check out Tami’s YouTube Channel here to view 15 short videos of the 2010 Waterama Parade.

** To date, Dale has received at least one nickel from me each time we have been out on our pontoon boat this summer.  AND one day he received five nickels.  That means, each
time we have gone for a cruise someone has acknowledged his Captain’s Hat.  Click here to read more about this situation.

** Keep having fun this summer and Be Safe!!
